You need a LONG weapon like the Tachi or the Horn(Great Sword will do but Kusha's skin will be a nuisance to that).
If ever you have any flashbombs, use them. Seriously.
Always remember that Kusha is allergic to poison. To remove that annoying wind barrier temporarily, poison him with any means possible(yep, NEVER EVER miss with the throwing knives). Poison Attributed weapons work nicely.
To permanently remove that wind barrier, break off his crown. This helps alot.
And above all of this, GIVE HIM HELL WHEN HE'S ON THE GROUND!!!
What's Grahf's weapon of choice in this one? It's familiar, but I can't get the name down ._.
